Airport Transfers
  • London Gateways A Trafalgar bonus – transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your Costsaver tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It''s that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
  • Important – Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:

  • Day 3 - London at leisure Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore or maybe shop in Britain’s vibrant capital city. Perhaps go to the Natural History Museum in South Kensington or visit Madame Tussauds to rub shoulders with the famous! (Buffet Breakfast)


  • Day 4 - London - Salisbury - Plymouth (2 nights) Our day begins with a drive via the mysterious monoliths of Stonehenge to Salisbury where we view the Cathedral with the tallest spire in Britain. We then continue past beautiful Dartmoor with its pretty ponies to the port of Plymouth for our two-night stay. Orientation will show us the area known as the Hoe, where Sir Francis Drake played bowls before going on to defeat the Spanish Armada. (Continental Breakfast / Dinner)

  • Day 5 - Cornwall Excursion Today we enjoy stunning scenery as we drive first into Cornwall and on to Mounts Bay where we see St. Michael''s Mount. Then we continue our journey through Penzance to the quaint village of St. Ives. Finally, we return via the Moors to Plymouth. (Full Breakfast )


  • Day 6 - Plymouth - Bath - Stratford - Cardiff This morning we make our way to Bath, the most renowned spa town in England, where we admire its renowned Georgian buildings. Then across the rolling Cotswolds dotted with picture postcard villages to Stratford-upon-Avon, the town of Shakespeare''s birthplace. Afterwards we drive to Cardiff, the Welsh capital, where we see Cardiff Arms Park, the international sports stadium, and view the Castle before arriving at our hotel for dinner and overnight stay. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

  • Day 7 - Cardiff – Ludlow – Chester (Haydock) This morning we drive to the Wye valley to view the ruins of the 12th century Tintern Abbey. Then we leave Wales and head north for Chester. Here we have time to admire the black and white Tudor arcaded buildings known as the ‘Rows’, see the Cathedral and the fortified Roman Walls. Finally we drive to our hotel in Haydock. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

  • Day 8 - Chester (Haydock) – Glasgow Today, we enjoy a scenic drive through the Lake District to visit Grasmere, home of the great poet William Wordsworth. Then we drive along the shores of England’s largest lake, Windermere, before crossing the Scottish border and drive to Moffat. Here we visit the woollen mill outlet before driving through beautiful Borders country to Glasgow. (Full Breakfast)

  • Day 9 - Glasgow – Scottish Highlands (2 nights) After an orientation of this vibrant city this morning we drive into the spectacular scenery of the Scottish Highlands. First ‘along the bonnie banks’ of Loch Lomond, past Inverary castle – home to the Dukes of Argyll and then via pretty Oban and Fort William in the shadow of Britain’s highest mountain – Ben Nevis. Then on to our hotel in Aviemore, the Scottish ski resort, for our two night stay. (Full Breakfast/ Dinner)

  • Day 10 - Scottish Highlands – Isle of Skye Excursion Today we drive first to Culloden, to see the famous Battlefield and then continue our drive along the shores of Loch Ness – look out for the monster! A scenic route take us via Invermorriston through marvellous heather clad hills and mountains to the Kyle of Lochalsh, where we cross ‘over the sea to Skye’. We’ll have time to explore the isle discovering a varied coastline and rushing brooks, waterfalls and charming thatched cottages. We’ll hear tales of Bonnie Prince Charlie and Flora McDonald associated with the isle from our Tour Director before returning to our hotel in the Scottish Highlands for dinner.   • Day 11 - Scottish Highlands – Edinburgh (Falkirk) (2 nights) Our tour takes us into ever more picturesque scenery through Pitlochry – famous for being the centre of Scotland and also for its salmon. Then via Perth and Dundee to one of the country’s oldest university towns, St. Andrews. The town is most well-known claim to fame however is that it is the home of golf so we’ll stop to take a picture at the 18th hole. More time to visit this lovely seaside town before crossing the mighty Forth Bridge to the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, where we will stay in nearby Airth Castle. (Full Breakfast )

  • Day 12 - Edinburgh sightseeing and at leisure We drive to nearby Edinburgh where our morning sightseeing tour shows us the Royal Mile, Princes Street and views the famous castle. Later, there''s free time perhaps to shop for tartans and popular Scotch whisky. Or maybe visit Holyrood House, home of Mary Queen of Scots. This evening, why not enjoy a lively Scottish banquet with haggis and bagpipe music? (Full Breakfast )



  • Day 13 - Edinburgh (Falkirk) – Leeds We travel to the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey this morning and to the border at Carter Bar where we stop to take pictures of the views across the Borders. Then to Hadrian’s Wall, once defending England from the Picts and Scots, before we reach Durham. Here there’s time to explore the cobbled streets and wonder at the Norman Cathedral and Castle on Palace Green. The Cathedral is the most perfect example of Romanesque architecture in Europe and is well worth a visit! Perhaps take a stroll through the cloister and the Cathedral quarter before continuing to Viking York – reputedly the most haunted city in England! Here our orientation tour includes the famous Minster, the ancient Wall and the quaint streets known as the ‘Shambles’ – today filled with chic boutiques. Finally we head to our hotel in nearby Leeds for dinner and our overnight stay. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

  • Day 14 - Leeds - Cambridge - London We enjoy a scenic drive through rolling countryside to the University city of Cambridge where we will see the magnificent architecture of the colleges and chapels set along the banks of the River Cam.
